The Net is a 'church without walls' therefore we have no building of our own. It is important to us that the places where we meet are non-threatening and accessible to those outside the church. Sunday venues have changed over the years, both as numbers have increased and availability has varied.
The Lesser Hall of Huddersfield University was a good centrally-based home for a time, a local special school took on the role for two years, and once we outgrew that building we started to meet at Almondbury High School.
From February 2007, we are moving to the National Children's Centre, in the centre of Huddersfield, since we have now outgrown Almondbury High School. See the link below for further details, and directions.
For our regular seeker events we try to use venues that suit the mood of the evening, for example we have met in function suites at the Galpharm Stadium, a local restaurant, a sports bar, a hotel and a pub.
